c. 1920–1935 | Oil on canvas | Purchased in Belgium for the collection

A broad blue sky and layered white clouds govern the scene. Below, farmhouse, orchard, meadow and birds form a settled rural world. Jaak van Wijck anchors the view with clear architectural structure, then brings movement to cloud, foliage and grass through short, tactile brushwork and restrained Impressionist light.
